The GC2 is a direct replacement for a 6V lead acid or AGM battery. While the GC2 may mimic a 6V lead-acid or AGM battery in physical form, the similarities end there. The GC2 offers the same power as Dragonfly’s flagship 100Ah 12V battery, just in a different form factor.
The GC2 allows you to use the full 100Ah out of the battery without the 50% discharge restriction that other batteries have. It provides five times faster charging while taking advantage of the true amp hours. The GC2 also excels in both hot and cold weather reaching discharging temperatures from -4°F to 140°F. With no low voltage sags, even as the battery depletes, this battery is proven to provide consistent power.
As with all of Dragonfly’s batteries, the GC2 comes with a built-in Battery Management System (BMS) that protects the batteries from high or low voltage, high or low temperatures, and if there is a short in the system. They know these batteries are an investment, so they’ve designed a battery that will safeguard itself to ensure maximum lifespan.
